Robert Foster is an Associate Professor in the History Department at the University of Adelaide where he teaches courses on Australian History, Indigenous History and Comparative History.

His most recent book, A History of South Australia co-written with his colleague Paul Sendziuk was published by Cambridge University Press in 2018.
