The Privacy Committee of South Australia (Privacy Committee) is established by Proclamation and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Information Privacy Principles Instruction by South Australian public sector agencies.

The Proclamation, which describes the functions of the Privacy Committee, is published at the end of the Information Privacy Principles Instruction. Membership of the Privacy Committee is published in the annual report.

One of the functions of the Privacy Committee is to deal with privacy complaints and possible breaches of the Information Privacy Principles Instruction by state government agencies.
