Make an appointment before your visit our Research Centre
Book an appointment and pre-order records. Records must be ordered before you visit the Research Centre. You will not be able to order records on the day from the Research Centre.
To locate records to order read the Discover our collection topic pages and our guide on how to find records in the archive.
You can then search the ArchivesSearch catalogue for the record references to order for your visit.
Take note of the specific reference details e.g. GRS 1334/1 Unit 38 File 3296 OR GRG1/42 Unit 1. Provide these details to us when you book your appointment. The records will be available when you arrive for your appointment.
