As part of the State Records reform changes to State Records service delivery model were identified.
One of the service delivery initiatives was the development of a clearly defined and direct point of contact, establishing effective processes for correctly channeling requests for advice for government agency and public customers.
As of 18th of December we have established a single point of contact for freedom of information, privacy and recordkeeping enquiries managed by the Information Governance Team.
We have a new mailbox firstname.lastname@example.org which replaces the individual mailboxes for:

FOI Management System
Emails sent to these mailboxes will be automatically redirected to email@example.com
The State Records contact number 08 8204 8791 remains the same with changes to the auto attendant options for our public and government customers.
