State Records of South Australia produces a number of publications for government and the general public. We have a range of publications to assist researchers to access records relating to South Australian History.
Likewise, we produce a range of publications to assist government agencies to comply with the State Records Act, 1997 and other relevant legislation.

Publications Related to Aboriginal History
State Records has produced a number of guides and indexes, an administrative history and a video / CD-ROM to illustrate how State Records can be best used for Aboriginal History research.
State Records has produced a number of guides to assist migrants, people of non-English speaking backgrounds and women to research their backgrounds in South Australia.
State Records produces a number of pamphlets to outline peoples' rights under the Freedom of Information Act, 1991. These pamphlets may be downloaded at no cost.
State Records helps to administer the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) as they apply in South Australia. To facilitate this, State Records, from time to time, produces policies and procedures to support these principles.
To support an Adequate Records Management framework, State Records produces a wide range of material. This includes Disposal Schedules and a CD-ROM overview of Records Management which may be purchased in hard-copy. It also includes electronic copies, that can be downloaded at no cost, of such items as:

To administer the various pieces of legislation that State Records is responsible for, a variety of annual reports, surveys and formal meeting summaries have to be produced.
