The Information Privacy Principles Instruction

The State Government of South Australia is committed to protecting the privacy of your information. In 1992, the State Government of South Australia re-issued a set of Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) which regulate the way it can collect, use, store and disclose personal information.

However, this Cabinet Administrative Instruction does not apply to Local Government in South Australia.

A modified form of the IPPs has been issued for application to information on South Australian State Government websites - Privacy Guidelines for South Australian Government World Wide Websites.
