Ships arriving at South Australian ports from overseas

Ships arriving at South Australian ports from overseas, 1836 - 1900

This series consists of an index created by the former South Australian Archives (now State Records) of the names of ships arriving in South Australia from overseas.  Entries within the index have been taken from newspapers, printed sources and government lists.

Each entry lists the name of the ship, its port of arrival, its port of origin and date of arrival in South Australia.  The index also contains codes indicating the source from which the data was taken.  Many of the references are to newspaper listings of ship's arrivals.

The lists are arranged alphabetically by ship name.
