State Records is the official custodian for archival records created by State and Local Government agencies within South Australia.
State Records has two websites, this site ‘Archive Services’ is designated for services to the public, whilst the other is for ‘Services for Government’
This site provides services and advice covering public access to the archive including Aboriginal access enquiries, and assistance with privacy and freedom of information.
State Records, as part of the initial consultation phase of our business reform project, sought the views of our staff, customers and stakeholders. All of the information obtained through the review process informed the development of a re-designed service delivery model, outlined in the below Reform Paper.
